Five Things to Know About Your Wallet Balance
The License.ws wallet is not complicated, but it does a few things quietly on your behalf. Here is all of it, in five points.

1. It pays your invoices for you
This is the point of it. When an invoice is created — a renewal, an upgrade, an IP change — your balance settles it immediately. You do not have to log in, approve anything or re-enter a card.
Renewal invoices appear seven days before the licence expires, so keeping any balance at all means a licence cannot lapse because you were busy that week.
2. Larger deposits earn more
| Deposit | Bonus | Credited |
|---|---|---|
| $100 | 5% | $105 |
| $250 | 7% | $267.50 |
| $500 | 11% | $555 |
| $1,000 | 17% | $1,170 |
| $2,000 | 25% | $2,500 |
The highest tier your deposit reaches is the one that applies, and only that one. Deposits of any size from $1 are welcome; below $100 they are credited in full without a bonus. The ceiling on a single deposit is $10,000.
3. A partial balance still helps
If the invoice is bigger than what you have, your credit is applied against it and the balance of the invoice stays due. You settle the rest with a card or crypto, or top up again and let the wallet finish the job.
4. It has limits, on purpose
The wallet will not pay a top-up invoice from the wallet itself, and it will not go back and pay for an order you abandoned more than a week ago. Both are deliberate: your balance should only ever go towards something you still want.
5. Nothing about it expires
Deposited credit and bonus credit behave identically and neither has a time limit. What you do not spend this month is still there next year.
Also worth knowing
- Topping up: card or crypto, from the Wallet page.
- Auto-Topup: set a floor and an amount, and a saved card refills the wallet when the balance drops below that floor.
- Withdrawals: wallet credit is for spending on License.ws, not for paying back out, so deposit what you plan to use here.
- Cancelling: cancel a licence before its renewal invoice is created — more than seven days before it expires — and no invoice is raised, so your balance is untouched.
- History: every movement is listed on the Wallet page with the balance after each line.
