Wallet, Card or Crypto — Which One to Use
Every method on License.ws settles the same invoice. The real question is how much of your attention each one costs, month after month.

The honest comparison
| Wallet | Card | Crypto | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Settles a new invoice unprompted | Yes | With a saved card, shortly before it is due | Never |
| Time to clear | Immediate | Seconds | Minutes, after network confirmation |
| Anything extra for you | Deposit bonus, 5% to 25% | Nothing | Nothing |
| Effort per renewal | None | None, until the card expires | A payment, every time |
Wallet
You put credit on the account; invoices draw from it. That is the entire mechanism, and it is the only one of the three that works while you are asleep with no card stored anywhere.
Deposits of $100 and up earn bonus credit, reaching 25% at $2,000. On a fleet of licences that adds up faster than most people expect.
It is not a bank account: credit is for spending on License.ws and cannot be paid back out. Deposit what you intend to use.
Card
The right choice for a single purchase you are not planning to repeat. Enter the card, done in seconds.
Save the card and renewals can be charged to it automatically a little before the due date. That works well — right up until the card expires, the bank declines it, or the limit is hit, at which point the invoice waits for you.
Crypto
Bitcoin, USDT, Ethereum and many more. The payment page shows an amount; send that amount. Extra is not converted into wallet credit, so there is no reason to send more than asked.
Confirmation is usually minutes. On a congested network it can be longer, so pay a day or two early rather than on the due date. Crypto cannot settle a future invoice on its own — nothing recurring can be built on it.
The way around that: send crypto to your wallet instead of to one invoice. You get the deposit bonus, and the balance handles the recurring part.
Our recommendation
Wallet, kept topped up. Fund it whichever way suits you. It is the only option here where forgetting about billing entirely is a reasonable plan.
Questions
Crypto paid, invoice still unpaid. It clears on confirmation. Still unpaid an hour after the blockchain confirms? Open a ticket with the transaction hash.
Can one invoice take two methods? Yes — the wallet balance is applied first, and the remainder can be paid by card or crypto.
Any fees from your side? None. Bank and network charges are not ours.
